It’s been a great year for the Alaska Chapter, and we have collectively accomplished many things this year. We started the year off with a new set of By-Laws with a concerted effort to strategically improve the quality of service to our members. By changing our election terms, we have managed to stagger the frequency in which we change board positions that has led to increased stability. During the past year, we have managed to hold our first PMP Boot Camp, bring in a national recognized speaker and provide well over our yearly goal of 20 PDU’s offered to our members.
My two year term as your Chapter President is rapidly approaching as the year 2010 is only 25 days away. I’ve enjoyed helping to make the Chapter a better place and feel that I’m leaving it in good hands as Teresa Helleck (2010 President) assumes the leadership role at the end of the year. She has already started preparation both Strategically and Tactically to make next year even better than this year. Please plan on attending this year’s Annual Banquet on January 16, 2010.

We have need of volunteers to help plan Banquets, Seminars, Region 1 Meetings, Monthly Dinner meetings, PMP Boot Camp and even writing some chapter documents.
