Currently filling the role as the 2012 PMI Alaska Chapter President. In his capacity as an active board member over the last eight years he has served two terms as President and two terms as Vice President of Publicity. A few of his Chapter accomplishments include the Chapter By Laws update of 2008, Standardization of the PMI Alaska Chapter Logo, and two website migrations during the first four years on the board.His understanding of Project Management comes from his diverse roles as Portfolio Manager, Program Manager, Operations Manager and Project Manager with a strong Information Technology background. Coupled with his experience in Toastmasters and involvement in PMI Regional and Global Activities, he is an excellent advocate for Project Management in Alaska. Educational and certification background includes: MBA, BSIS, AAS, PMP, ITIL Foundations v3, Toastmasters Competent Communication & Competent Leader, and several Microsoft technical certifications.
