Peter Stewart, IPG, began his career in England as a Journeyman Electrician and an Electrical Contractor. He moved to the United States and continued working as a Journeyman Electrician while pursuing a B.S. Degree in Geology from Boise State University and a Micro MBA.
Peter continued his career as an Exploration Geologist/Lead Field Geologist, covering the western US. He was responsible for the development and execution of exploration plans relating to precious metals, uranium, thorium, and rare earth metals. Peter continued his geologic work with IPCO handling geologic issues for their hydro facilities, reviewing and investigated emerging technologies relating to energy and selected EPRI research projects.
Moving into another industry, Peter worked as a Project Manager responsible for site procurement, zoning change, all environmental permitting, equipment procurement, engineer/contractor procurement, and associated contracts and agreements for gas turbine power plants. He went on to work for Idaho Power Company and oversaw the complete running (Finance, Development, Operation and Reclamation) of a jointly owned coalmine.
Peter is currently the CIRI Energy Construction Manager for the Fire Island Wind Project. |
