Dave Harbour is a successful survivor of many diverse projects. Dave is a former Army infantry officer. He is a Kentucky Colonel, served as Director of Government or Public Affairs for two gas pipeline companies, an oil company, and a university. With a Master's Degree in Communications, he served as Chairman of the Alaska Council on Economic Education, the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, and Common Sense for Alaska. He helped found the Alaska Support Industry Alliance, Arctic Power, and Consumer Energy Alliance Alaska. He served as a Commissioner on the Bicentennial Commission, the Heritage Land Bank Commission, and the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (Chairman). His articles have appeared in hundreds of magazines and newspapers throughout the US and Canada. He chairs oil and gas conferences throughout North America, from Inuvik to Calgary, Anchorage, Edmonton, and Houston. For over a decade, he has been publishing an energy webpage, www.northerngaspipelines.com, and his free email alert list contains 10 thousand addressees. He is also a professional photographer, specializing in creative images of people, landscapes, animals, and art from around the world; his latest project includes documenting AfroColumbian refugee camps in Ecuador for the United Nations World Food Program.
