Ground Transportation
The Alyeska Resort is a short 45 minute drive from the Airport. Travel to and from Anchorage along the Seward Highway which hugs the dramatic shorelines of Turnagain Arm. Arguably one of the most beautiful stretches of highway in America. On one side, the sprawling, sometimes four mile wide flats of Turnagain Arm stretch like a plain to the opposite shores of Cook Inlet, where mammoth sloping mountains abruptly stop their lateral expanse. Each turn reveals another scenic wonder.
Shuttle service featuring wine and light appetizers will be provided from the Anchorage Airport to Alyeska Resort on Thursday May 13, 2010 departing at 12:30pm and 5:30pm.
Return shuttle service will be provided from the Alyeska Resort to Anchorage International Airport on Sunday May 16, 2010 departing at 4:45am and 12:15pm.
Round trip shuttle service available at $20 per person round trip. Sorry, no discounts for one way ground travel.
Transportation to the Night on Anchor Town provided Friday evening at no charge for board member representatives, $20 for guests.
Transportation for Exploring Girdwood Friday evening provided by the Alyeska Resort, no charge for board representatives and guests.
Independent ground transportation may be arranged through major car rental companies. Cab fare to Alyeska Resort is approximately $95 one way.
