Travel along the Seward Highway which hugs the dramatic shorelines of Turnagain Arm. Arguably one of the most beautiful stretches of highway in America. On one side, the sprawling, sometimes four mile wide flats of Turnagain Arm stretch like a plain to the opposite shores of Cook Inlet, where mammoth sloping mountains abruptly stop their lateral expanse. Each turn reveals another scenic wonder.
We’ll start from the Anchorage Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Log Cabin at 4th Avenue and F Street.
